I loved my stay! The hotel provided a super clean room and its location was unbeatable, making it easy to explore downtown. The staff was friendly and truly made us feel at home. The location of Penn Stroud is fantastic. It's right in the heart of downtown Stroudsburg, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The air conditioning unit made a strange noise whenever it was on, which was quite distracting. I also noticed some areas in the bathroom needed attention, the tub was slightly stained, and the grout could use a deep clean. The breakfast options were limited. I would have liked to see some protein choices. Parking was a bit tight at times, especially during busy hours. The elevators felt dated and a little jerky. Overall, I think there’s great potential here, but management needs to address these maintenance concerns and improve the dining options.
